spider's web

spider's web

A Poem by Marie Harrison
"

this is a nature write

"

spider's web

silken strings of love

make my happy home

delicate to touch

inspiration of beauty to see

entrapping my tasty lunch

with temptations of my long legs’ rapture

only to feed on

all colors of the rainbow

seen from the prism

of light that beams

on my home spun with love

Spider webs are beautiful creations, and also wonderful tools for capturing all those pesty bugs that feast on my garden.

The flow, rhythm and transitions could use some work but I like the imagery and description. Spider webs are beautiful things in literature and art, very creative even though I really dislike them in real life.

Great poem marie, you've captured the spider's web with a great chioce of words. I can see the images you describe in my mind now. Great job.
