a nature write about an owl that used to sit outside my window

Surveying the
surrounding landscape
from all directions,
on top of my building perch,
I sing to you a song of the blues,
as I stand guard over you
as you sleep in your dwelling.
With my feathers of white,
and my green and black speckled eyes,
I sing   ...hoota, hoo, hoo
           ...hoota, hoo, hoo

How cute. I love all of the different sounds owls can make, and how each one can look so different. Small, but nice poem

Wonderful view as seen from the eyes of the owl. Love the song of the owl, makes a great ending to your poem.
