Coming Back From Afghanistan

 

He's rushing back,
running to make it there
as fast as he can.

 

Little does he know his
relationship is in no mans land,
his wife's be screwing
everything she can
since he went to Afghanistan.

 

She's been racking up as much debt
as she was able to
fuel her craving for attention
what the hell, gone is her husband.

 

Poor guy little does he know, he's running
to the slaughter this former desert lamb.

 

Life might have been
easier in Afghanistan!

I expect on many levels this is true for many coming home, but coming home to what? Such a sad tale really, that he fights, and believes in his home, all for it too be a lie.........my father suffered a similar fate coming home from ww2, and its heart wrenching.
A different look at soldiers..........well written.

This is nice,has a raw appeal to it,when it comes to emotions...unlike the title it stresses more on the situation a soldier might or might not face when he comes back home from wars...
