Glowing HeartA Poem by Marie HarrisonA love poem.Glowing Heart Saw you as I was Passing through, Recognized a Beautiful soul in you With a strong beating Heart that glowed. A heart that glowed so Bright that it shed new Light on how trite love’s Fickle ways can be. How important it was to Remain true to yourself And do the best You can do. You held my hand so I Could steady myself to Stand tall as you told me Of majestic distant lands. You planted tiny seeds Inside my beating heart That grew into love, My love for you. My heart smiles even Though you are miles away. It yearns to see you happy With a big smile On your face. My heart gives you space for You to grow, to know what Type of man you’re Going to be. My heart knows how To let go of your hand to set You free. To let your heart Glow for another whose Hand is free to be cradled By yours. Because my love is true, It is not blue to let you go For it yearns for you to Grow to be happy and run Free to be the man you were Meant to be. © 2010 Marie HarrisonAuthor's Note
