My Mad Hat Tea Party

My Mad Hat Tea Party

"

A poem about a first kiss.

My Mad Hat Tea Party

Twirling round and round

Orange, yellow and pink

Swirl together.

Laughter surrounds us

As we spin in our own tea cup.

What’s up Mad Hatter?

We’re on hallowed ground,

Disneyland, where life is bliss,

Because you’re holding my hand.

Your eyes are so blue

I just wish you knew what

Was on my mind besides that

Little freckle on

The side of you lip.

That’s when I took

The best sip ever,

When you leaned

In and softly kissed me

On my pink bazooka lips.

My sweet,

How did you

Know that

I like honey

In my tea?

I think this was a cute piece. It kind of reminds me of my first kiss from my ex-boyfriend, Lars. I think you did a great job. Thanks for sharing. :)

Ahhhhh the innocence and magic of youth... All those brilliant colors brought forth from the rainbows of our minds ...they lit the sky. What sweet memories of Disney and tree houses and dancing in potatoe fields ... and the twirl of glee your poem brings so wonderfully.

Excellent as always, Marie. Very erotic, exploding vivid colors in the imagination, especially the part about your "Pink Bazooka Lips," you've overwhelmed my interest. It's too bad that it had to end; too bad we have to grow up.
Nice job, beautiful. BZ
