Stardust
A Poem by

poem
-Stardust-
Starfish drift by
As I bleed tonight
Slowly all of my
Red plasma is
Filling up the sea
Feeding all the
Blue ocean plankton
As I leave
My body for the
Circling sharks to eat
There’s nothing left
For me to keep
Think I’ll sail
Out of here,
Do a fly by the moon
Up in the cosmos
Kiss the face of
Heaven as I
Evaporate into
Sparkles of
Purple s tardust

Great job, well done.
There was such a subtle aura floating around each syllable and i think that gave me the impression of weightlessness ==> dust == stardust.
I think you achieved the purpose more than splendidly with the picture, tone and atmosphere all merging seamlessly here!
I applaud this.

Outstanding poem, Marie...Your words are well crafted here though quite short...

Ugh... I hate blood... But I can see it would be nice to eat you... :-)

ONE OF MY ALL TIME FAVORITES!!! I loved the words, the idea, and how you were inspired. I really loved the part "Think I’ll sail Out of here, Do a fly by the moon Up in the cosmos Kiss the face of Heaven" Made it all worth reading forty times in a row...haha dont know why it gets me like it does.
