Portrait of the Artist as a Young Bear A bear young defecates in the woods. Nobody notices. He turns, sniffs, inspects and shrugs. The next day, he defecates again. Nobody notices. Enraged, he bellows, fells a small tree and urinates in the stream. Sighting a hunter brings satisfaction and concern. He runs thinking, A life of an artist as a bear is dangerous.
