Back Then

I had this crazy idea growing up that everything im life was black and white

Back then I never knew

time passed by so fast

And even though I grew

memories didn't last

Back then it was so fun

nothing bothered me

Now that time is done

it's clear to me, now i see

My life is just beginning

back then I never knew

My head is always spinning

from things I thought were true

Back then I figured it was easy

this is what I thought

Now i'm all grown up and

i'm here to say, "it's not"
