With All Due Respect

With All Due Respect

A Poem by Christa Lou
"

You really shouldn't have :)

"

hi, i’m a willow leaf. i curl up when people

touch me and the patch of space i occupy

is the cloak on someone else’s shoulders.

but today, see me. feel me. i’m real,

and i have something to say: f**k you.

(hear me, i carry upon my back

wishes from all the people

you never bothered

to look at closely.)
