thorns

thorns

A Poem by christina

you kissed me with lips so soft and sweet
but when my mouth parted against yours
I breathed poison into your lungs
and as the light escaped your eyes
you realized that the rose you once thought pretty
had thorns after all

I like the idea of kisses spreading poison through lungs. Asphyxiating from desire, lust or even love.
