Blue

A past you cannot move on
A present I cannot run away from
It's so cruel we have to meet
While our world's in complete chaos and wicked fate

Our hands may perfectly fit together
But we cannot hold each other
Our hearts may beat fast when we are close
But we have to stop it before something grows

I may have seen my first sunrise with you
I may have seen the ocean run to me while sitting with you
But we can never see the sunset together
And I know running away with you is not the answer

Even if I see myself happy within your arms
Even if my heart shouts that you are my dream man
Even if all day, all I think about is you
We cannot be together, even if this feeling is true

Not while you hold your past dearly
Not while my present is full of uncertainties

So whenever I look at you

Please don't show me that you

As well

Is feeling blue

Oh my god. This feeling encapsulates my life. And you describe it so effortlessly. "I may have seen the ocean run to me while sitting with you". Our hearts are so full when with this person that the elements themselves come to us! Such a powerful and magnetic love. But real life happens around us and we have to cater to the wicked fate you speak of.
So much applause for this one.
