Depression

Depression

A Poem by Christine

Depression has sunk in to an all time low.

The words won't come.

They just won't flow.

I stammer.

I stutter.

I can not speak.

My heart is broken.

My words just leak.

Peace and quiet...both evade

This is the life...

the hell I made.

Chris,

I just read this and l loved it. I have to agree with the other comment, that the flow is nice and words are short and to the point. I want to be there and comfort you, but I can't, so, I will hug you in my mind and save them all up so I can give them to you when the time is right.

Great work!

"Peace and quiet...both evade This is the life...the hell I made." I absolutely love this line. The poem is short and to the point. In so few lines you captured the agony that all of us have felt at one time or another. Thank you for sharing.
