Free will

Free will

A Poem by Clare Ashbury

Please No CSS

To the depths of our impure thoughts

May we smile at our victims

Then trail off

To exercise our right to hate

To kill against our will

The devil our whispers

Travel away from the scene

Our angel like faces our disguise

No need for an alibi

The sun still shines

Even with our lies

Our in sight to the murderous mind

We are one for all

Blood washed away still shows within our eyes

Dynamic to the change of our mood

We all feel like Gods

We have the free will to take a life

The memories show over and over like the silver screen

Handcuffs never shall sting our wrists

Bars shall never lie as a trap of a shield

Freedom to kill

Never a thought

To stop our free will.
