Icarus Narrative

Icarus Narrative

A Poem by RannunculusBlooms
"

A couple of original haikus inspired by the story of Icarus and Daedalus

"
We soared like eagles,
You yearned to fly higher still,
I was left behind.

You abandoned me,
Snagged by your aspirations,
You were lost to me.

now a broken dream,
It's too late for redemption,
There is no return.

I've never seen them put into a series like this. It's hard enough to write one, but to have 2 more that match and build on the same theme is pretty smart.

yeah I figured they would make more sense if I put them in a "series" per say.
