Leaving

Leaving

A Poem by clisa
"

Bugs

"
I wandered into a hornet's nest
and stirred up all the bees;
the termites came raging out
and ate holes in all the socks
releasing caccooned butterflies
to migrate south to butterfly forests
leaving open holed socks
for spiders to spin homes in

with hornets,bees,termites,
butterflies,and spiders all
buzzing,humming,crawling,
flitting and spinning I,
I could not stay.

So I sailed away
with web in my pocket
and fireflies dancing
on shore;
I waved goodbye
I could not stay.
