Stanza Third

Stanza Third

A Poem by Serend1p1ty
"

A tribute to a moment, to a feeling, to a person, to my God. An expression of a lot of feelings ending in stanza third. Inspired by Greg Laswell's "Not Out"

"
Staring at glass, I see the sun
Life is dull; I ain't got no fun
I wish to have your light
No more the lonely night
Memories only go so far
Compared to touch, not on par

Ask for anything You'll give
In your name I live
So Father ease my heart
A love I don't wish to part
She has my heart, my mind, my whole
Completely in her control

Dear girl, come back to me
Life is tough, burdens run free
I can't survive for long
That's why I wrote this song
But I can't write another word
& so it ends on stanza third

And the notes of the song played out, and the feeling of dispair remained in the heart, and the longing did not depart!
Oh yes......reach out, sing out for the one you love! And have faith that our God does hear.
I am glad to see you writing!! Nice!
