Burnt Out

Burnt Out

A Poem by CaSi

Would you forgive me

If i was a tree?

Sitting lonely as can be

Lightning struck me down

&I fell upon your friend

Took his life

With that knife

Never meant to

But I'm dead now too.

Not 'cause of you

Or because of them.

But because I was a tree

Angry as can be

Stuck in the midst of a storm

How I wish I was never born

But I'll live like I'll die

You'll never see me cry

I can't let of this anger inside

That lightning was me

 I'm where it hides

I'm the evil in the end

Will you still call me friend?
