Crashing

Crashing

A Poem by George Love
"

Very short, quick and over

"

Crashing

Moonlight shines dully
While waves crash wildly,
Mighty upon the coast
Shall one stand?

Loudly they wail
Crying for the lost
Forever gone
‘Neath darkness of foam.

this poem came and went as quickly as the tides, which works for it

i commend the shortness of your poem, it takes alot of patience to write something that short, i would be going back and adding more, muddling its original meaning

Only a few words, but a big impact.
Provokes sadness and images ...
Well done!
