Combine the Difference

Harsh light,

Dances off my skin,

Highlighting my flaws,

And showing them off.

 

My faults are my strengths,

And my strengths are my faults.

Today is the day I combine the difference.

Forget not my awkward moments,

But laugh in the memory,

Remind yourself that we’re all human,

Even when we decide we’re diverse.
