I am merely a puzzle piece.

I am merely a puzzle piece.

A Poem by Enigma

“You are a mystifying puzzle

That will reveal itself in its own time.”

Words spoken from a friend.

These words are true about us all.

I am a puzzle piece. I am shaped and

Molded for a specific section on the puzzle.

The world is the puzzle itself. Each piece has a reason.

Why is this?

Each person as a theory for this placement

Some might disagree and move a puzzle piece

Into the wrong place, others ignore it all together.

I am just a piece.

Do I have a say in this puzzle? I make it a true puzzle right?

Another piece of the very same puzzle, would easily disagree.

Maybe he should have more space than the next piece.

He wants to decide everyone’s place, but he’s on a piece.

I am only a piece, built to fit neatly in a specific spot.

I may not know the space, but I know I have one.

Each puzzle piece has one. After all, if I didn’t It wouldn’t

be a puzzle would it?

Some piece’s are lager, making up the corners and edges,

The ‘structure’ of this puzzle and the border, I help support these pieces.

I may not always agree with placement but I support them.  Is that

Wrong? I think not. Everyone needs structure and support. Without

The border, we are simple pieces, scattered along a table. Nowhere to fit.

Another piece could easily take your spot, without structure.

The structure is what binds it together, helping keep the puzzle,

Working and in tack. A ‘broken piece throws’ it all off.

I am a piece. You are a piece, everyone is a piece to

this mystifying puzzle of the unknown.

Will the puzzle ever be complete? No, due to the miss matched

Placement of pieces. I work with others, trying to find places and

Positions. After all I can’t do anything else… or can I?

I do not know yet, but I do know this.

I am simply a missing piece of the puzzle.

Foreseen Stander,

Puzzling (pun intended), how we can take an ordinary object and turn it into an intelligent write. Placing ourselves as that object and spinning a web of confusion and pondering is even more intriguing.

Questioning your reader is a important when writing a piece of this magnitude. Giving us the power to reach inside your head and pull out the answers. This was an excellent write with a solid foundation.

I applaud you for the self reflection, bravo.

Keep writing,

Legacy

I would definatly consider placing this in the Enlightenment contest for Poetic Infusion Soceity.
