Honeyed

Honeyed

A Poem by AlanaLJay

In the silence of the stream

You shout insanities

Windblown stillness rushes over me

Breathing slowly into your beauty

Giving life to ideas that don’t exist

Even if silence satisfies it’s craving

Even if I wanted to satisfy it for you

The insanity of it would be too honeyed

Leaving me wanting and ideas floating

But still you whisper

As I glide closer

I love this. The idea of being sucked back in. The title is perfect. Great work!
