Wanton Kisses

Wanton Kisses

A Chapter by Constance-Outspoken

I gave freely of my wanton kisses

Yet a dream I could not ever replace

The fool knows not what he misses

Having left home for a box of wishes

Chasing but a glimpse of a pretty face

Bearing hope of her frigid kisses

Cruel vanity caught him in her pinches

Oh, I can never match her beauteous grace

And therefore, I shall not be his Misses

Futile tears fall like summertime drenches

To my bodice of inferior lace

For memory is not all we made with kisses

I wonder if she really gives him blisses

That from his thoughts my memory erase-

Until only I our brief love misses

Inside my womb are tremblings and swishes

Made by the child of my only disgrace

OH, there was life in those wanton kisses

The fool knows not what he misses
