Silence (Is Not Golden)

Silence (Is Not Golden)

A Chapter by Constance-Outspoken

Silence:

Alone, I hate the word, ferociously.

In silence one is captive to one's own thoughts-

Those we fear to dwell on in a crowd.

The silence of solitude is never golden.

It is oxidized steel.

Silence:

With you beside me, I do not fear it.

In silence I am captivated by your essence-

The sense of you that defies all senses.

This sacred silence is more than golden.

It is without equal.
