Hail nature!

Hail nature!

A Poem by costa siwale
"

As poets we all love nature and the elements, go green and preserve

"
In water's waves
Fire's flames
Air's gusty wind.
Earth's dust
tree leaves
icy chilly feel.

In whis-per-ings
Shiny things
Green grass that sways.
Starring skies
Luna eyes
Even sunny rays.

Nature speaks through all of these,
So lend a listening ear.
And let grow, until there's more
So we may still be here.

i like it! the simplicity and romantic descriptions in tribute to nature and to poets .. well done says i! the tune "These are a few of my favorite things" sprung to mind as i started reading your closing verse ... i don't know why .. it just did :) ... your call to attend the world we live in is eternal ... well spoken!

coasta siwale: What a beautiful world we live in, nature speaks to us all and this poem is a fine example of someone that watches, with large eyes and listens with ears of an elephant - we can feel and smell the essense of it's beautiful through poems, like yours. I hope you write more about nature and give us some descriptions of more of the things you see. We must let it grow, and your correct to survive: Love the title and ending. I like stanza two the best, it gives lovely descriptions which gives me rich vivid imagery. Thank you so very much. Dale

Decent poem. In a way it reads like the most basic descriptions of these things. It doesn't really evoke a feeling from me, or any type of emotion, but it does make me appreciate the beauty of nature. I like the message of the poem, but I'm not sure it comes across really well unless you read the "description" part of the poem, so I think that may be an issue as well. None of this is the say that the poem is bad, but I have faith you can do better :)

So much said in so few lines...

And let grow, until there's more
So we may still be here.

A vital message delivered beautifully.

You are welcome Costa :)
Hey, nice work, simple, but elegantly done. Something of a call to safeguard nature, and treat it with both honour and respect, after all, without it what do we have? Just a synthesized world, where nothing is real...
A beautiful, well-crafted poem, made palatable with both its brevity and its message.
Keep up the good work, friend.
