Full Bloom

Full Bloom

A Poem by lee von cleef

sat watching, the air grow thick
sat listing to time go click
and the traveler let go
Her eyes satisfied
She said "Yes" and let go

Air whispered from her
The comforter settled

A saxophone stole my thoughts and she
must of brushed a magnolia

For the scent and sound Haunt me again , Today in your words......

This is sad. Actually I am weird I never felt anything for dead people. When my dad passed away I was very young and I have a black account for his moment. If I was older and wanted to write a poem it would not be as great as yours because I hate him lol
Well said an written.

I feel as if I know Courtney now. I'll never forget your tribute poem to her, Soul, nor, will I this one. Powerful / beautiful stuff, lee. As well as that forever more photograph.

What a beautifully bittersweet, moving word... lives connected across time and space.. and the memories that hold us all together.

You are quite welcome for the review being given..Sara
When someone you love passes on, it is never easy. The fact you have a photo with your daughter and her grandmother is so special. I am sorry for your loss.

This made me feel Alone in my thoughts Yet we are thew springboard for the next generation. It is sad to see us pass on but we must and so there in lies the value to life. If we lived forever life would take on no meaning and take give back nothing

Reading this makes my heart ache...so eloquent in its sadness.

must of brushed a magnolia

Simply beautiful sentiments.

it is tough to watch a loved one pass..and often harder for those hearing the tick of the clock...than for the person who is passing...often that person is calm, and ready...and letting go...

we are all flowers that bloom for awhile...but life itself is here and then gone...sometimes in an instant, sometimes in years...

we experience death and it makes us grow up...sometimes sooner than we planned.

great piece, Courtney...
