Chain-link Fence

A Poem by InvisibleInk

As with any life,

I am a series of successes and failures.
I am a chain-link fence of moments and memories.
I am a being of simplicities and complexes.
I unravel as I fold inward and outward.
I am all of the minutes in-between time.
I look both ways before I cross the street.
Sometimes I forget to look. Sometimes I forget to cross.
At times I wear the cross on my shoulders
and at times I put it down.  I am the lost and the found.
