Silence

is golden

I understand this

we learn most

when we are

not speaking,

but listening

I hear things

in the dead night

I would not repeat

I open my mouth

I shout

I cry out

this is not right!

Words must be said

against this human nature

that tears itself to shreds

against our violence

which turns

our world red

let my voice

be one in millions

that don't shut up

that scream

until we change it
