ScowlA Poem by Ben Taylor
I have become agitated
with you all. With all your chattering and prattling and your thoughts like endlessly revolving doors. I am packing myself in a box, an ad hoc fort of old couch cushions. Light attempts to squeeze in through the corners. I can hear you all rambling and meandering outside. It's a bitter loneliness, but I savor it. I relish the opportunity to feel annoyed. It's always important to cherish a foul mood.
