I stare at the blank paper

The lines blurring and dancing in my vision

My mind is blank

 

I sit emotionless,

Unable to write anything at all

Why did you have to come again,

My horrible friend

 

Oh, how i hate you

Oh how I hate writers block. The symptom not the poem. Often times you need a sledgehammer of frustration on page to get past it. Sometimes is self doubt and sometimes it's just the creativity won't come. Insanity. Anyway I hope just getting this out got you past it. Might I recommend a walk in the park or some brain games? Often I just write what comes to mind in hopes to returning to make sense of it later. Sometimes I just leave it alone and people like it. Either way good work and keep at it. It's not always about what you write but what you express that matters. Chin up.
