a tear in the glass cowl

a tear in the glass cowl

A Poem by TheAimlessWanderer

release my veil please hear me call over the rolling waves and the static hail
. waiting to fall endlessly over this dreary sky
. far beyond the call of memory and sanity and where perception does not lie. let the madness devour you.
fading you into the shadow of it's unholy light.
bringing the change undefined,
brought from the deep where all intentions and possibilities meet.
colliding making worlds with their darkest strides.
a moonlight tear from the gazing glass eyes neither clean or unclean a pool so clear neither light nor dark's embrace shall hold upon it's shore. whisked away from this world and from all forevermore.

Chris, thanks for this. It's very good, with a depth that pulls me in, reminds me of the poems we wrote in the sixties. It takes me on a trip to the cosmos and back again, beyond life and into that dark realm hat awaits out there. I like it. Good write.
