Hidden

Hidden

A Poem by Darling Dallas

The tearful eyes

and sorrow filled cries,

never meant a thing.

All the lies

and depressing goodbyes,

were a result of an amazing time.

I never told.

He never knew,

the words that could have changed everything.

How I truely felt.

hidden under the belt,

the guard that hid my heart.

It held them in.

The words.

The feelings.

The laughs.

The cries.

Everything that was left unsaid.

I love the format you used! This is a beautiful write, I can just hear the sadness in each line. Great job :)

I love the formatting of this poem! And I like the stand-alone line at the end for all the impact it adds, as well. Goodbyes are always hardest when you can't let out the things you most truly want to say.. Lovely read.
