Poets' Breath

A love poem, such as that it attempts to describe love.

Love is the Breath of a Poet.

Its touch is only felt by those who seek to know it.

For without want neither is felt or heard,

and to incarnate either one alone would be absurd.

A Poet's Breath is empty echoes when there is no love,

and love is wasted labor when not clearly spoken of.

So when I breathe my Poet's Breath, I whisper for no other;

come and take the love from my lungs my only lover.
