Today was special

There is always an effect when you've inflicted a cause towards someone

May 18th, 2017. Today is very special, maybe to me and not to you but its very special. I know you don't know what I'm talking about but I mean, why would you? Why would anyone know? We all change because it's natural, it's all part of life. Today is so special because you became into an amazing person. You were perfect and I guess no one person can be perfect, right? Life had to change that and make you the person you are today. Today isn't special just because of you, today was the day when everything changed.  Today is special because we both changed but the difference is I'm still the same. -But I'll constantly drop my head in shame 

As for every word I spoke for you in defense, went in vain 

I thought it was worth it, believed you were the apple of my eye 

Little did I know you were going to be my optimum pain, all in disguise. 

Today was special.
