Unanswered prayers...

When god wont pick up the phone...

Countless nights,
I spent in tears,
My words fell on deaf ears.
I'm broken by fears.
Days without joy,
To you i'm just a toy.
Why wont you answer?
Did you cancel
Your care and love?
Maybe you don't want to answer.
I don't hate you,
So why do you hate me?
Why wont you take time, tell me?
God, where are you?
My heart calls for you.
Are you up there?
Do you even care?
Did i do somethin so bad,
That you wont forgive that?
Are you mad?
Have i gone bad?
Do you hear me?
Guess you don't,
Maybe you just wont.
Your infinite love is gone,
I have no place in your heart,
But what took us apart?
Do you see my tears?
Do you hear my words?
Do you see my pain?
Out of clouds you make it rain,
But my heart is still full of pain.
Do you even care?
Yes, i dare,
To ask the right question.

Guess i'm not important for you,
Find another slave. will you?
Cause i wont serve you.
Too much ignorance,
You lost your place in my heart.

Author's Note

God...never answered my prayers, so i stopped praying. He lost his place in my heart, for him there is no more space.

Well, I believe that when the time comes, everyone will get what they deserve. I find it brave that you speak like this to the creator. And I noticed the change of heart, progressing from neutral feelings, to ever growing anger, flowing nicely with the poem. Awesome job Danny. Keep writing.

Well... I know you don't want to believe in god. And believe me I really don't mean to piss you off... But try to believe in god. Trust me I'm really nobody to say what you should believe in...but still if god exists...those who follow him, will be rewarded. And those who don't... Well you have read the bible. Anyways, I'm sorry if I made you angry.

First & foremost, you can't be angry at something that isn't there. This being said, if you are still angry at G-d, then He must be there. (That's how I deal with "unanswered prayers").

Just because we might not get an immediate answer, doesn't mean He isn't listening or that He isn't there. Sometimes, there isn't ever a definite answer until something else happens in our lives to show us that what we went through or are going through right now was supposed to happen. But that's just my two cents.

As for the poem, it was written well with only a few grammatical errors. Well done.
