Paroxysm of Emptiness

Paroxysm of Emptiness

 

Stumbling upon glacial clouds

Ascending to the unfulfilling

Weary and dulled throughout

A path radiating a profound light

 

Sightlessly a perception of warmth

Benevolence sought to be crushed

Consolation for a loss yet to be

Obtained

Sympathy for Imagination

Forever trapped

 

Blinded eyes, deafened ears

Muted tongues, numbed senses

And a beating heart to cease

Them all

In this paradox

Of shimmering Hope

 

 

This so called Elysium

Shall burn and fall

This silence shall end

And twist the fate once again

 

 

This so called heaven

Shall ignite and blaze

And ashes shall wither

Away

Descending now to where it begun

The downfall of dreams

Barren and jaded

Of what came to sight

Very nice poem, story-telling style... exploring the state of void that you have been in years ago ;)
It tells many aspects and challenges which all can be collected under the ceiling of Disappointment, and Fake Promises!!!
Then rise again with fury and wrath to clear out the darkness and claim the war which ought to be done many moons ago!

Beautiful.
Intense and powerful. I especially liked the lines "THis so called Heaven shall ignite and blaze."
It reads incredibly well and sounds wonderful when read out loud.
