Benevelance

Benevelance

A Poem by Dingo the Archwizard of all Time and Space...
"

Companionship

"
Faithful steed,
Do not recede
To you I plead;
'Tis you I need

Companions close
And friends afar
Nevermore,
That which we are

Infinite,
Yes, all of it
And still I try
And still I quit

Begin again;
And truth be told
'Tis too complex;
I'm far too old

I beg of you do not recede;
'Tis rare a time when I so plead;
Infinitesimal champion
Alone, my friend, I have not won

Dingo the Archwizard of all Time and Space...,

I feel as if I stepped into the archives of literature, the timing was clear and concise, the imagery was superb, and the voice was phenomenal.

You have obviously been into the books lately...? On the other hand, possibly this is just your forte' in any event, this piece was indeed a spin from old school.

Taken back a bit by the steed being the main focal point, it is not very often you read poems this way. It was a brilliant and original piece.

I appreciate your sharing.

Have a great day,

Legacy

PS. You should submit this into the Poetic Infusion Contest, Love... I think it suits the contest well, as it also adds a twist to the depth of love. (If you have not yet entered.)
