Taped Up HeartA Poem by Daydreamer12It was shattered, It was riped, Heck it even was squished.
It was chewed on, It was kicked, It came back in bits.
I sweared never to give it away, To keep only in my hands, But I lost it once again.
I looked and looked, But didn't find it, Not until I sat under the cherrytree.
I had found it, In the tree, Oh no it had been thrown.
I had climbed the tree thinking, Never again, Never again, Will it leave my hands.
But when I got to the top, It wasn't brusied or riped. It wasn't even torn.
Instead it had, Glue, Staples, and Tape?
But all I saw was the note that said "It will never be in the wrong hands again." © 2008 Daydreamer12Author's Note
