Longings.

Longings, 

be soft 

when you come

like the touch of a golden moon

fluttering in a delicious

rain-breeze

come like the glimmer

of distant ships...dotting the horizon

with star-kisses

come like the first sip

of a mountain-scented tea

on lonely

autumn evenings 

come like a blanket

tenderly touching

my fevered brow

be beautiful 

like memories

and mist

rising off a forest river 

like poems blooming

in fields of silence

come and drench me

in a moment of

a deep breath

a deep love...

and fill my heart

the way birdsong fills

the trees at dawn.
