Each Day

a quick little prayer this morning

Each Day

 

The stars are fading

And the sun coming up

And You already know

I don't believe in luck

My angels You gave me

Are so  sleeping tight

And you came to wake me

In the middle of the night

And i see Your beauty

You've made all around

And I feel Your love

In the love I've found

And I find me grateful

As I fall to my knees

And Lord I love You

And I ask of You please

Take my life again

I'll start each day anew

And I'm trying to bring You glory

With all the things I do

And I just want to thank You

For the world I'm in

And even though it hurts sometimes

I see how I begin

To walk through what You give me

Now I'm holding on tight

And I'm finding that I have You

To get me through the night

Lord, how I love You

And please look after my friend

And Lord, if I'm only walking with You

To the beginning, not the end

I’ll be holding on to Your promises

Through all these things I do
