A Different Kind of Hunger

A Different Kind of Hunger

A Poem by devon

I’m hungry for love,

But Cupid’s fridge is empty.

I’ll just have to do without.

Hopefully someone will feed me.

My tummy’s rumbling,

But there isn’t a crumb to be found.

I’ve searched every crevice,

There’s nothing for me.

Starvation is setting in,

I’m beginning to beg.

What does a girl have to do to be fed?

I’m so hungry I could die.

Towards the end, I thought you were talking about actual hungar, so I read it again, and then I got it. XD I feel so slow sometimes.

Anyway, enough about me. This piece was amazing, like everything of yours that I've read so far. I really like how you portray the need we all feel for love. It's so unique and beautiful. Great job, Devon.

Also, just to let you know, I ♥ you.

Strong but short write. :) I know that feeling very well. I like it, well done on that! The poem flows well.

I'm sorry but I am terribly dirty - minded and the second last line sounded so dirty to me. XD

A very strong write...

hugs really have meaning... especially when all you do is watch others getting them.

Sad and interesting. Very abstract writing with some emotional depth to it. Wonderful!
