Let Her Have Her Tiara

Let Her Have Her Tiara

A Poem by devon

I’ll never be as lovely

As she is.

But I’ve got a whole world of love

To give to you.

She’s as pretty as a picture,

And I’m not.

I’d never dare to hurt you,

But I can’t say the same for her.

Her brains surely surpass

Mine by a mile.

She may be clever, but nobody could

Ever care for you like I do.

If we’re having a contest,

She’ll always win the crown.

I love you, though, and that’s one thing

She can’t beat me at.

While sometimes the stereotype about popular people being stuck up and nasty isn't always true, it does lead to that a lot.

I've had my experiences with this. You certainly wrote a very good poem. You put what you feel well on paper.

Wonderful! But popular people are surrounded with a bit of a stigma or stereotype. Some of them are actually very good people, and this is coming from one of the least popular people at my school. This write is very heartfelt! I love it!
