Your'e leaving!?

Just a poem about a friend who I really don't want to leave. All the emotional swings I'm going through too.

You are leaving!?

No, this can't be true! I won't believe it!

Oh no, now I'm greiving...

Please just go, give me a minute.

 

I won't let you see me cry, I'm a tough girl!

(I really want to see your truth about leaving unfurl.)

Back to New York from whence you came!

(I'm the person I always will blame...)

Please don't go, please please... don't go...

(There are so many things that you need to know.)

I should have known not to cling on to you.

(I should have known you'd leave me blue...)

Obviously god made a choice for you and I.

(For you to go and I to cry.)

I won't let you go! You can not leave me here!

(Without you I have the whole world to fear.)

I'll scream louder! I'll make a riot!

(Only to show you I won't be quiet.)

My world was cold and listless without you.

(But with your teachings and help I sure grew!)

Now they want to take you away from me?

(Nuh-uh! I will not let that be!)

I can see those tears welling up in your eyes.

(There's no way you can feed me those lies.)

I know with every fiber of my being.

(The last thing you want to do is be leaving.)

So here I am in my room of nightmares.

(The things in the mirrors that gives me glares.)

I'm folding myself up into a fetal position.

(Whilst the tears in my eyes blur my vision...)

I keep vomiting from all these emotions.

(It's probably from my lack of adhesions.)

My lips are drying up, dead skin curls off my lips.

(Thank you, thank you for all the tips.)

 

 

But please don't go, please please... don't go.

(Don't be like the wind, don't blow.)

HAha wow, well you made me feel like a jerk after reading this poem. I'm sorta leaving my friends as well, decided yesterday to move to another state on the 20th. Telling my friends tomorrow, and now I feel bad :P Anyways, well written, and extremely effective to me.
