A Vision In The Night

After a couple hard rants I thought it was time to get in touch with my softer side again.

 

 

Her radiance glows

like the sunrise,

bringing a mysterious beauty

to every midnight.

Now that I see the darkness

in a whole new light

when I close my eyes

my vision is sharp enough

to see beyond heaven,

while my soul interprets hell

as merely a unicorn.

This piece really slipped into my head and turned on some gears that I didn't know existed... yet.. I'm really not sure what the piece's overall flavor is. I think it's along the lines of as time moves people change and the eye sees old clothes in a new way. As our vision adapts, we are better able to see the one bad apple, rather than having to deal with an entire wall of darkness? That's what I see in it anyway. =)

I'm probably over thinking it.. lol Nice Ink!

But his hardest task still eluded him. He might have known something of it but not enough. Only that he himself is the center of his concerns about justice and liberty in the world.
