Pop That Illusion BubbleA Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)I like country and pop music along with rock and other genres... this is just a metaphorical melody. In a country
song The princess
would arrive In a pickup
truck Dressed in
jeans and boots, Ready to get
down and dirty with chores While the man
who loves her Is working by
her side, Before
raising the roof At the local
watering hole.
But when you
pop it up the princess Is prim and
proper, Covered in
glitz and glitter As she is
whisked away By her prince
charming To live
happily ever after In a
glamorous existence.
Many think
that country Is not the
better life, Disillusioned
to the fact That pop is
based on a lie. © 2016 The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)Author's Note
