The Importance Of A Halloween State Of Mind

Walking in the misty moonlight

With the goblins in my head.

My demons following my silhouette,

Keeping pace like the walking dead.

Though I live the lifestyle of a vampire

That is CEO of the blood bank,

My outlook on life is a burning corpse

And no witches brew can mask the stank.

So I just take a seat next to my open grave

That my mummy said I would eventually dig

If I kept living life like Frankenstein

That thinks he is much too big

To enjoy a little trick or treating,

But now I understand her way of thinking.
