Is there such a thing as Love at first sight? If so how does it feel?

 

With a flash

Quicker than lightening

The moment I laid eyes on you

I felt electricity

That gave my heart

An unfamiliar beat,

The kind of beat

That puts live in alive.

Faster than a digital camera

My eyes placed a pic

Of you in my mind,

A picture of my happiness

Reflecting in your smile.

All it took was that one moment

To live a lifetime

My soul always dreamed about.

The last line was epic. IT is so true that we grow up with visions or dreams or whatever you call it of things we want............and ever so rarely, you find these moments. It's like a deja vu of a wish.

love at first sight :D I think old souls know and recognize something in each other, it can be tricky finding out what the moral lesson is with each one if this is true, so that you don't make the same mistakes twice.

It is a memorable event when it happens. Perhaps once or twice or thrice in a lifetime. It's mind blowing but I don't know what else to call it as infatuation is too shallow a word. Love, I feel grows on us. We grow to love people. Its a connection built between two souls over a period of time. Kudos for this lovely poem Dale!
