Dreaming In Clear And Aqua

 

When a mist lingers

Like a breath mint

In Mother Earth’s mouth

The bubbling brook

Becomes cool enough

To refresh the throat

Of all whom believe

In the not so secrets

That nature speaks of.

So let those that think

The sun is the only light

Dry up like dead bugs

On asphalt during summer’s noon,

I choose to listen to the moist lips

Of Mother Nature at midnight.

This is a beautiful piece of modern art , breath mints gave it a very powerful essence, seriously! I could taste it when I read it. In my line of work we call that a :"buzz" word, something that causes sensation in positive way. reading it sounded very sensual especially the last two lines, I was just thinking earlier that I love the sound of summer crickets.
