To Live Is To Die

To Live Is To Die

A Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)

Pine seeds planted around the world

Are filled with the DNA

Of those having long since bloomed

And pollinated the Earth in their own way,

No matter if it was a little or a lot

They all germinated with this planet.

What they are now

Sooner or later we will be

When Nature makes the call

To God’s will.

Life is like a hurricane,

Fast and hectic,

But death is the tornado,

Moving things around

And changing the landscape of the future.

In the scheme of things

The inevitable is inevitable,

Until that day comes

Our purpose is to be the stem

That produces all the flowers it can

To make the Garden of Eden

Beautiful again.

For to live is to die,

To die is to go to heaven,

To go to heaven is to live eternally

In this world.

Very interesting way of looking at things. I had a very different idea when I read your title. I was thinking that life includes experiences that make us feel like we're dying. But instead you're taking the 10,000 ft view & showing us the inter-connectedness of life & death. Very thought-provoking! I agree that we all put some kind of handprint on our sphere of influence (((HUGS)))
