Who's Fooling Who?

Who's Fooling Who?

A Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)

I enjoy playing

The clown in life's circus,

But that don't make me

The big top fool,

Rather I'm master the ring.

I guess we all like to think we're the master of our own little circuses, huh? *smile* I very much enjoy your extended metaphor & your message makes me ponder how we think about our places in the world! *smile* Fondly, Margie

Smoke and mirrors, face paint and grins, they can all belie a master masquerading among the fools who can see no further than the surface.

Vry well said... thank you.
clowns can be deceiving, and have more pull than what we expect.
they are the heart of the show...whether it is masking feelings that are inside--or just to keep us laughing.
