Humanity?A Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)One
question… Humanity? Answer… Changes, Not day to day, Not
hour to hour, Rather minute to minute.
One
minute… Alive and well, Blink… On life support.
It
walks the razor’s edge Making
it difficult Not
to bleed, Leaving
a blood stained street To
Jacob’s ladder, Where
every rung is Dripping
crimson rain.
Every
time I see the light Burning
bright There
is a power surge Leaving
God’s Kingdom Under
a black blanket.
I
show off my love In
the light And
let my prayers Give
hope a guiding hand Through
the dark.
For
as long as hearts Of
the world believe Mankind
has a fight chance For
eternal peace.
